FULL TIME
Sawmill Equipment Engineer
Graduate Mechanical Engineer (BSME)
Minimum 2 years of practical sawmill engineering experience
Autodesk AutoCad experience required
Graduate Mechanical Engineer (BSME) with a minimum of 2 years practical sawmill engineering experience or equivalent experience in industrial equipment design. Experience designing board edgers, gangs, and associated material handling equipment is preferred. Similar equipment design experience will be considered. Autodesk Autocad experience is required.
The Sawmill Equipment Engineer may be required to travel to client facilities as job duties may include establishing design requirements, providing startup supervision, and onsite troubleshooting and service.
We are looking for someone with great engineering skills who will enjoy working in a collaborative environment. Success in this position will depend on effective communication across teams of people from diverse backgrounds and with different technical capabilities.

Sawmill Equipment Sales & Applications Engineer
Experienced Sawmill Equipment Sales Engineer for a wide-ranging territory in the eastern U.S. The Sawmill Equipment Sales Engineer will meet with sawmill owners, management, and staff to assess opportunities for equipment and technology applications relevant to G Machine Company and its affiliated partners.
The right candidate will have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, an in-depth understanding of hardwood and softwood manufacturing processes, and experience in capital equipment sales.
They will be a driven self-starter with solid computer skills and the ability to document sawmill floor plans and equipment layouts with intent to communicate requirements to our engineering staff for equipment bid and design purposes.
This position will require travel to hardwood and softwood sawmills throughout the eastern US and Canada as well as participation in industry events.
The ideal candidate will reside within the eastern U.S.
